The design for this fast food restaurant serving Asian cuisine situated in downtown Tel-Aviv represents an exercise in branding, graphics, packaging and interior design. The overall approach takes its inspiration from the nature of Asian street food which inspires the Pop Art posters and graffiti that decorates the walls. The focus of the restaurant is to serve fresh and healthy food quickly which can be eaten on the premises or taken away. The space available measures just 80 sq.m. in total therefore needs to be highly functional and capable of accommodating standing and sitting patrons. The materials used to define the open plan kitchen and seating area conjure up a streetscape featuring concrete, corrugated metal, glass and ceramic tiles used to create a playful yet wholesome interior that reflects the fast food served there.
