Vilà Margarit

The story

In the middle of a bustling city, in one of the most chic areas of town, lies a beautifully restored, protected building from 1903. Offering the perfect urban oasis for those who love the vibe of a crowded city but yearn to come home to the tranquility of their own private space.

The solution

Spread across 120sqm this beautifully appointed two-storey property has been designed with clear, continuous flooring, providing a sense of fluidity and acting as a neutral canvas on which each element becomes a feature of interest. The large windows and open-plan layout bring the outside in, providing a sense of space and luxury. Touches of wood on the staircase and terrace deck provide warmth, and the magnificently preserved original brick finishing showcases the authenticity and character of this unique building.

The heart of the property is the 25sqm terrace, which opens onto the living area and brings the outside pool and garden right to the living room door. Designed with natural materials and a vertical garden, the terrace is integral to the living area, which has an especially high ceiling thanks to the mezzanine floor. The second floor houses a master bedroom, built-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom, overlooking the living area and terrace providing, here too, a feeling space and comfort.
